Before founding Crisis Responder, Tony had a number of senior roles at American Express, Chancery Law Group and the Towergate Partnership. He pioneered placing mortgage brokers in estate agents, helped to set up the UK's first mainstream fee based financial planning business, co-founded the UK's first deregulated law firm and developed usable Business Continuity Planning for SMEs.
He is the subject of a Cranfield University School of Business MBA thesis and report on Entrepreneurship, and has written articles and features for “The Times”, “The Sunday Telegraph”, “PostMag”, “Financial Adviser”, “Money Marketing” and “High Net Worth” Magazine.
Matthew Gilchrist Bennett,Director of Client Services
Matthew originally trained as a lawyer before moving into Financial Services where he specialised in planning for high net worth clients. He returned to the Law in 1991 and subsequently co-founded the UK’s first deregulated law firm, working closely with many of the country’s leading financial, accountancy and affinity groups, and was Chairman of the Small Business Network.
He is an experienced relationship manager, trainer and presenter, and highly skilled in developing and maintaining the interface between a company and its clients.
Bill May, Director of Risk Management
Bill has worked for many of the big names in the insurance industry including Aon and Marsh, where he was Vice President Technical Strategy and Innovation, and has been leading BIBA's work groups on terrorism and climate risk. He enjoys regular contact with his opposite numbers at both the ABI and Lloyds, as well as with a number of government departments and the OECD.
